The Military Sacrifice Plate for the State of Ohio is unveiled for the first time by State Representative Terry Johnson, Ohio BMV Registrar Don Pettit, and Sgt. Ron Rosser MOH [Korea] 

Former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Evelyn Stratton is presented with a Military Sacrifice license plate for her grandfather whose merchant ship was sunk during World War II.  

Steve Loehrke is presented with the first Military Sacrifice Plate in honor of his daughter Christina Loehrke Smith.

Military Sacrifice license plates are available to immediate family members of a loved one who was killed outside of a combat zone while serving honorably in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces
